PEACE FOR BURMA!...Burmesian monks in the footsteps of Mahatma Gandhi
Oct.2nd International Day of Non-Violence
I have the highest respect for the monks of Burma! And for the Japanese photographer, who got shot this morning! As Mahatma Gandhi taught the non violent fighting for human rights and independence of the people in South Africa and India, so the monks do now in Rangoon. They show us how it goes. How peace can move mountains! Doing this, they do risk their lives for all of us! No Western country will look aside this time. Each monk who gets arrested will attract thousands of human rights watchers! Each Western journalist who gets beaten up, gets chased out of Burma, attracts again thousands of human rights watchers! China has to understand and to accept, that fascism, military regimes and violation of human rights commonly and all over the world are recognised as outdated! Why does China criticize the visit of Dalai Lama in Germany? Obviously in fear of peace! But peace is the mortar in the wall made of bricks! Peace secures the complex and different systems of human societies all over the world! There is no other chance than peace! Peace to Burma! Down with the military junta! Next Tuesday the world is celebrating the International Day of Non-Violence! There is hope! So go for it, China! Stop the fights, General Than Shwe! That is your chance for getting accepted by people and politicians all over the world! Stop the bloodletting! NOW!
